Today I decided that I needed a new source of Japanese entertainment, which could be anime or manga, or perhaps something related to the two. So I went out by foot to the so-called Great Mall (which is a long way). I never been to the Great Mall in about 4 years, and I used to go there alot. It's like cheap theme park, except they don't rip you off. After visiting the place, I found out why I never came back to that place in years. It sucks now!
In this mall there was no store that sells DVDs, CDs, or books and magazines. So what kind of stores does the mall have? Clothes stores! Nothing but fucking clothes stores!!! Sports! Formal! Causal! Girly! Gothic! NOTHING BUT CLOTHES!!! Why?! Is there a huge demand for chothes in the past 4 years?! After exploring half of the mall I already past by 5 clothes stores that sells the same sports clothes. It's like the all of the same store but changing the names just to make them look different! And since there no store that sells DVDs or books and magazines, buying anime or manga is out of the question. What happen to this mall?! There used to be a indoor skate park, a book store, an arcade center, and a place that actually sells DVDs!
Thank God I later found a sports equipment store, otherwise I would go insane. I was going to buy myself thermal gloves in there until all the reigesters are closed except for one. The only open reigester had a very long line, but that okay, I can wait. When it was finally my turn, I suddenly can't buy the gloves... it belongs to another sports store. And that sport store in very far away. So how the hell it end up here?! Well I had enough of this crappy mall!!! I left as soon as possible before waste more time.
On my way walking home, my legs were getting sore (It always happens on making a trip back). So I decided to take a train to the station near my home. I was one station away and I felt it would be a waste of money to spend on a pass since it was just one away. So I didn't pay for one and got onto the train. Usually there is no one checking for passes on the train, but if there is and you get caught, you end up paying a huge fine. The chance of security officers checking for passes are 10 to 1. I was unlucky enough to get that one. At first I didn't notice until I heard kids talking about someone getting caught by the security who didn't have a pass. It turns out that the security they were talking about was in back of the train writing a ticket. With the doors shut behind me and the train was already moving, there is no where for me to run. I don't think he noticed me because the officer would ask anyone who just entered for their passes. It must be because there was group of people blocking his view and the fact he is busy writing a ticket. He keep my eye on him and he sometimes looks my way, as if I was a suspicious person (Maybe he kind of notice that I wasn't one of the people already on the train). But I reach my station (it wasn't far) and left before he could possibly ask me.
So wasting time on a crappy mall and almost getting caught end with with a crappy day. Tommorow I am just going to stay home and draw manga, because I just had crappy experience today.
